Crews from Coulson Flying tankers both pulled Martin Mars giant seaplane into the water of the Sproat Lake this week.
First the Philippine Mars, painted in a vintage blue US Navy scheme, was launched Monday. The red-white Hawaii Mars waterbomber has been into the water on Tuesday and if all goes well, it will take flight this week for its first flight of this year.

The Hawaii Mars will hold demonstration flights on EAA AirVentures airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, July 25 31.
