This year’s Gidroaviasalon exhibition and airshow was celebrated in Gelendzhik – in Russia – at the Black Sea coast. Dmitry Skhondin, – deputy Head of the Beriev Aircraft Experimental Unit – presented the Beriev Be-200 type S sitting in the cocpit. He talked about the world’s best-known “waterbomber” aircraft and promised it’s future as a passanger version as well.
Early in october we was flying above the Lake Como by Cessna 206 amphibia and we could saw George Cloony’s villa.
Last year on Wolfgangsee Alex Kollep, the owner of a Piper PA-18 Super Cub promised me to take me for a ride with his small seaplane. It’s a more than fifty years old construction. We met again in the fall Como.

We travelled across four countries to get to Biscarrosse, the cradle of the French seaplane aviation. This event was also a special occasion since it marked the 100th anniversary of the seaplane aviation in France.
This plane was used by the US Army in Vietnam sometime, now it is presented by its owner. We made this video on the Scalaria Air Challenge in Austria in 2009.
